- Mum – Jade, age 27, lawyer, newly pregnant with 2nd child, known asthma, on an ICS plus salbutamol
- Partner – Ben, teacher, has a teenage pupil missing school due to uncontrolled asthma
- Daughter – Anna who is 3 years old with a history of wheezy bronchitis, on no treatment
- Jade’s Mum – Brenda, 56, lifelong smoker who has recently quit and is annoyed to have developed a productive cough since quitting
- Charlie, 84, ex-smoker with coronary heart disease and asthma/COPD overlap, also has dementia

How to find the venue
Directions
By Car: Exit the M6 at junction 6 and follow the A38(M) towards Birmingham(E&C). Continue onto the Aston Express Way/A38, keep right to continue on Queensway/A38, keep right to continue on Great Charles Street Queensway/A38, take the exit towards New Street, continue onto Suffolk Street Queensway, at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Holloway Head/B4127, turn right onto Granville St. Guests can drive to the main door of the hotel at 70 Broad Street where there is a limited number of car parking spaces for hotel guests (no prior reservations required). Other car parks are located close by.
By Bus: Some bus routes run through Broad Street and can reach the main door of the hotel. To check routes and numbers please visit https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/
By Rail: The nearest main train station is Birmingham New Street. The tram system runs from New Street station to Broad Street and takes around 10 minutes, this can also be walked in around 16 minutes. A taxi will take 5 minutes and bus 11 minutes. Snowhill train station is also around a 20-minute walk, 8 minutes by bus and 4 minutes by taxi.
