Bev is a nurse practitioner and independent nurse prescriber working in general practice in Gloucestershire. She specialises in long term conditions. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of Practice Nurse Journal and Primary Care Issues & Answers. She has key roles in respiratory care including as Asthma Lead for the Association of Respiratory Nurse Specialists and with the Primary Care Respiratory Society Policy Forum. She is also the nurse board member for the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society. Bev has an MSc in Respiratory Care and an MA in Medical Ethics and Law. She has been a Queen’s Nurse since 2015.

Darush is a clinical fellow respiratory lead pharmacist for Imperial College Health Partners, NWL Asthma Network (Children & Young People), and NHS RightBreathe. He is a Co-Chair of the Taskforce for Lung Health and PCRS Executive Committee member and was asked to help review the National Training Standards for Smoking Cessation.
Alongside his many publications, Darush has presented at many conferences. In 2019, Darush was recognised at the PCPA GP Pharmacist Awards for excellence.
Darush enjoys running and raising money for charities, with one of his main missions being to reduce health inequalities caused by tobacco and poor healthcare.

Kerry currently works in Primary Care as lead Respiratory Nurse and Co Clinical Director at Hereford Medical Group, Primary Care Network, which delivers services for 50,000 patients in Hereford City. Kerry has been involved in respiratory care for 25 years and prior to working in the GP surgery was lead CNS for Respiratory for the acute trust. Kerry’s specialist respiratory knowledge encompasses Asthma, COPD, ILD & Bronchiectasis. Until this year Kerry was COPD lead for ARN’s and remains a very active member and continues to sit on the ILD IN committee as primary care representative. Kerry’s successful implementation of FeNO in her PCN has been recognised for its economic and environmental impact in the National FeNO programme Impact report . Kerry continues to deliver respiratory training for local teams, and has delivered ILD module training for Rotherham respiratory.
Peter Bagshaw

Dr Peter Bagshaw has been a GP in for over 30 years. He has been Senior Clinical Fellow at the University of Bristol and is currently the Mental Health, LD and Dementia Associate Clinical Director for Somerset ICB, and the national clinical engagement director of the DEMON research network.
He has co-authored NHSE “Older person’s Mental Health Primer” and is the author of “Daggers of the Mind”, as well as being a regular contributor to “Pulse magazine”.
His outside interests include painting, quantum mechanics and karate (black belt in Shotokan Karate).

I became a registered nurse in 1991 and since then have worked in acute paediatrics, school nursing, specialist nursing, clinical education and research.
My primary professional interest is to contribute towards improving quality of life and clinical outcomes for children and young people (CYP) with asthma and I am proud to have collaborated with NHS England around the development of the capability framework set out in the CYP Asthma national bundle of care.
As the Clinical Lead for Children and Young People’s Asthma I am responsible for the implementation of the national bundle of asthma care in the Black Country. We have commenced an exciting program of work around Children and Young People’s asthma in the Black Country and our aim is to deliver feasible and sustainable improvements in outcomes for all CYP with asthma.
In my research role I work with general practice teams across the UK to implement the IMP2ART research trial strategy to improve supported self-management of asthma in routine primary care practice.
My other professional activities include membership of the Asthma + Lung UK Council of Healthcare Professionals, writing for publication and professional education. I am the Lead Asthma Tutor for Rotherham Respiratory where I have developed and manage a range of online asthma education modules from introductory to advanced levels.
